Terms & conditions

Clear expectations for using Careeratus and taking your next career step.

Last updated: September 21, 2026

1. Using Careeratus

These terms apply to careeratus.com and the linked Careeratus application. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into an agreement. Questions can be sent to help@careeratus.com.

2. Your account and information

Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account and for keeping your profile, qualifications, work authorization, and application answers accurate. Do not share another person’s information without permission.

3. What the service provides

Careeratus offers tools for job discovery, profile matching, document preparation, and application tracking. Features may vary by account, configuration, or availability. Careeratus is not an employer and does not promise a particular number of applications, interviews, offers, salary, or visa sponsorship. Job listings and employer information can change; verify important details with the employer. Careeratus does not provide legal or immigration advice.

4. AI and application workflows

AI suggestions and generated documents are drafts that may contain errors. Review qualifications, dates, claims, and application answers before use. Do not misrepresent your experience. If you enable application assistance or connect a service, you authorize the relevant processing and actions within the workflow you select. Some employer forms require your input, authentication, or manual completion. A queued task or generated document does not establish that an application was successfully submitted; check its actual status or confirmation.

5. Acceptable use

  • Use the service lawfully and respect employer and third-party platform rules.
  • Do not submit false qualifications, impersonate others, or use the service for spam, harassment, or fraud.
  • Do not bypass access controls, misuse other accounts, introduce malicious code, or interfere with service operation.
  • Do not copy, resell, or exploit the service in ways you have not been authorized to use.

6. Your content and our materials

You retain your rights in the content you provide. You give Careeratus permission to store, process, and transmit that content as needed to provide the features you request and operate the service, as described in the privacy policy. Careeratus and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, branding, and site materials. AI output may not be unique and may require review for third-party rights.

7. Paid features

If you choose a paid feature, review the price, billing period, limits, renewal terms, and cancellation or refund conditions presented before purchase. Those disclosed terms apply to the purchase, together with any mandatory consumer rights. Do not assume access to a paid feature or a refund guarantee unless it is expressly offered. For billing questions or cancellation assistance, contact help@careeratus.com.

8. External services

Employer sites, job boards, authentication services, AI providers, email platforms, and payment services are operated by third parties. Their availability and policies are outside our control. You are responsible for reviewing applicable third-party terms when connecting accounts or interacting with those services. A link or listing does not imply an endorsement or partnership.

9. Availability and responsibility

We may maintain, update, or change features, and interruptions may occur. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, Careeratus is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from service use. Nothing in these terms excludes obligations or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including mandatory consumer protections.

10. Ending use

You may stop using Careeratus at any time and request account deletion by emailing help@careeratus.com. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security risks, nonpayment, or legal requirements. Where practical and appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a way to raise concerns. Information retained after account closure is handled under our privacy policy.

11. Changes and questions

We may revise these terms as the service evolves. Updated terms will show a new revision date, and material changes will be communicated where required. Mandatory rights under applicable law continue to apply. For service concerns or disputes, contact Careeratus at help@careeratus.com so we can work toward a resolution.
